Glass crack versus a dead iPad display
The front of an iPad is glass, a touch layer, and the panel that draws the picture. A drop can spider the glass and leave the image perfect. That is a glass job. A pink line, a black blotch, or touch that dies in one corner means the display assembly. Those are different parts and different quotes.
We say which one you have before a screw comes out. Diagnosis is free. You can leave with the iPad if the number is wrong for you. We do not publish a price list because an iPad 9 is not an iPad Pro 12.9, and premium glass is not aftermarket glass.
Home-button iPads and Face ID iPads are not the same transfer. We keep your original button or Face ID hardware on the tablet. A swapped module is how people lose unlock after a cheap mail-in repair. We test unlock with you before you leave.

We check the crack, the touch, the cameras, and whether the iPad wakes. Then you get a number for the part we will actually fit. If the glass is on the shelf, you can wait. If it is not, we say so and give you a pickup window. We do not start a job we cannot finish.
After the glass goes on we test touch across the corners, brightness, and unlock in front of you. Take it. If something is wrong inside the warranty window, come back to the same store with the ticket. The written window is on the repair policy.
When a new iPad is the honest call
Repair the glass when the board, the battery, and the cameras are still fine. Replace the iPad when it is already slow, the board is damaged, or you want a different size anyway. A cracked screen alone is not a reason to buy a new tablet the same day.

Take the case off at home if it is stuck to the crack. Glass dust in a case is how a fresh screen gets scratched in the parking lot. Leave the Apple Pencil at home unless the pencil is the thing that failed. Pencil pairing is a separate check.
