A spider crack with a sharp picture is the panel. You can still see your desktop through the glass. That is the straightforward laptop screen repair. A vertical line, a flicker, or a pink wash can be the panel or the cable that runs through the hinge. A black screen that still makes fan noise can be the panel, the cable, or the board.

Pickup is at the same store. We test the image, the brightness, and the hinge in front of you. The warranty window is on the ticket and on the repair policy. A new drop is not a warranty claim.
When to stop and buy another laptop
Repair the screen when the keyboard, the battery, and the board are fine and you still use the machine. Replace the laptop when it is already slow, the battery is swollen, or the quote is close to a used machine you would rather have.

Write down the model if the sticker is still on the bottom. “The silver one” is not a panel. MacBook, Dell, HP, Lenovo, and Chromebook lids do not share parts. The closer the model, the faster the shelf check.
